Well, for the first time in my life, I'm speechless. Tonight was the most amazing, unbelievable, glorious, magical night.

Welcome to all the new people and beginners who came to Salsa Uno for the first time. With 76 of you in a 2 hour beginner class this community should be feeling another growth spurt soon.
Congratulations to Kim Kodenski, Jesus Obregon, Marla Dubin and Larisa Harrington for winning the Jack and Jill contest and a great big thank you to all 18 of you who participated.

If you don't see a photo amongst the pics that you saw in the camera, it's because I filtered them as I was uploading them. I have been thanked many times over for this extra process of weeding out the unflattering photos. Sometimes they look great in the camera in the dark club but when I get them up on a large screen, they don't look anything like they did a few hours prior.
Something I didn't get to do in my email on Sunday was to thank Earl Rush, StuckOnSalsa and the DC Salsa community for the Lifetime Achievement Award they bestowed upon me for the work I have done, and do, for the Baltimore Salsa Community. As I've said before, this really needs to be shared with all of you because you are the ones who bring the guests, support the night and forward the emails. Tonight was a perfect example. So thank you from the bottom of my heart.
A very important announcement. So many of you have asked me about dance shoes. Well, no need for that caravan road trip as I am bringing Ron Burkhart of Best Foot Forward down to Club ONE. Ron will be here with all of his shoes on Sunday, July 27 from 12:00pm until 4:00pm. Ron has many styles for both men and women and you can get them in any style, fabric, color, heel style and heel height. I'll have sample booklets at the club next week. You may email me with any questions. Please spread the word.
Another important note. Someone accidentally placed a Fuji Finepix camera in a charcoal colored leather case in the wrong red cloth shoe bag on the second floor around 10:30 or 11:00pm. Here's a direct quote from an email I just received, "I'm hoping & praying that it gets returned to me; I just committed to Barb that I'd help out with the Salsa meetup as much as I can and tonight was supposed to document the success with Salsa Uno. I feel horrible!"

90 minutes of Beginner Salsa and the last 30 minutes Beginner Bachata with a hint of Merengue.

From the North:
Take 83 South (the Jones Falls Expwy), get off at Guilford. You are now headed towards the Inner Harbor. The club is on the left hand side, directly across the street from Hammerjacks. It's on the corner of Guilford and Saratoga.
From the South (from either 295 or 95):
Go to Pratt St and make a right. Go to Calvert St and make a left. Go up to Centre St and make a right. Go to Guilford and make a right. Follow instructions heading south on Guilford (as listed above) from there.
